Exploring Córdoba: How to Use Public Bathrooms (Aseos) in the City Center.

If you've traveled through Europe, you've likely noticed that finding a public bathroom can be a real challenge. Spain is no exception.

Public bathrooms are few and far between, and when they do exist, they’re often not well-maintained. So when you’re exploring the beautiful streets of Córdoba, finding a clean and functional bathroom can feel like striking gold!

Luckily, in the heart of Córdoba's tourist area, there are 4 public bathrooms that are clean and easy to access:

Here’s a quick guide on how to use them:

  1. Insert coins totaling €0.30 (only 5, 10, and 20-cent coins are accepted).

  2. The door opens—but you’ll need to shut it manually.

  3. Be careful with the top handle—even a light touch can cause the door to re-open.

  4. Feel free to wash your hands if you'd like.

  5. Press the top handle to exit.

Pro-tip: Have those coins handy, as it might be your best chance to avoid the often-dirty and scarce alternatives in Europe! 😊

Bathrooms not so public (but easy to use unnoticed, no change - no problem)

H10 Palacio Colomera Hotel across the Plaza de las Tendillas have a wonderful bathroom.

Enter the hotel, up the stairs, to your right around the inner patio and you’ll find them on your right.

Pretend you’re staying there and walk with confidence! I have used them numerous times and never had any issues 😎
